Caitlin Sullivan - Customer Research Training

BACKGROUND

Raised by an anthropologist and a mathematician, I inevitably grew to share their values: deeply understanding humans, and finding repeatable ways to get reliable results.

After years working in a variety of company settings, I led user insights work as Head of User Research at an award-winning Stockholm-based SaaS company spun out of Spotify.

I’ve spent 8 of the last 14 years focused exclusively on startups and scaleups. I help them find and solve urgent customer needs to lower the risk of new products and product changes. Previously, I worked at some of the best design and advertising agencies in Europe and the US.


WHY ME?

My secret weapon is my diverse background.

I’ve been an advertising strategist, an interaction designer, service designer, and head of user research.

Plus, I’ve built a business from the ground up - with both brick-and-mortar and e-commerce - then sold it.

I don’t know any former Heads of Research who can say that.

My experience-based, business-driven approach means insights won’t get stuck in academic theories. I support early-stage startups to find and prioritize real problems, then solve them and innovate fast.
